Can I make a “Me-owch” pun?

Saw this advertised as one of THE Batman-related trades to read if you’re new to the mythology. Can we take a moment to talk about her left hip and spine (or rather, how neither seems to exist)? If you let your eyes drift out of focus, it looks as though her rib-cage is floating.
